| Boating/Lake Fun: Lake Alpine, Spicer Lake and White Pines Lakes are all close-by. Driving further on highway 4 will take you to Mosquito Lake and Highland Lakes. Most all of the lakes have good fishing from banks and boats. Drop by the Ranger station for maps and other information on hiking trails, fishing, boating, backpacking, biking, etc! New Melones Lake: Near Angel's Camp. Water skiing, jet skiing, year-round fishing, hiking, very spacious. |
