Downtown Arnold
Lakemont Pines is a private community off of Highway 4, right before you enter Arnold.

There is a large
grocery store conveniently located just beyond the Lakemont Pines turn-off (just a few minutes drive from our cabin).

There are a few
fast food places (Round Table, Subway, Chinese food), our favorite restaurant, Snowshoe Brewery, and other businesses (banks, gas stations, sporting goods, etc) located in the nearby shopping center and "downtown" Arnold, all minutes away.

Arnold is located along a 47 mile stretch of California Scenic Highway 4 in the Central Sierra. As you head NE of Angels Camp, you reach Arnold at around the 4,000 feet elevation level while you pass through beautiful scenery, wine country, and spectacular forest areas. Arnold serves as a gateway to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Stanislaus National Forest, Bear Valley and the many lakes, rivers and vast wilderness areas just waiting for you to come explore! The recreational opportunities are plentiful and diverse. This site just scratches the surface of what you can do! Come enjoy!
